Please come out and support the 2nd Annual Hike4Cancer event with the Pete Kartsounes Trio. Pete started the Hike4Cancer Foundation last year. Pete hikes the 500 mile Colorado Trail while stopping in towns along the way, putting on concerts to raise awareness and money for their beneficiary. This years beneficiary is Colorado's own ThereWithCare. ThereWithCare provides a range of practical services for children and families facing critical illness in order to ease the burden of life's day-to-day obligations during a medical crisis. Come out and hear a great band and support a great cause.Pete Kartsounes' music is a product of many different musical influences, yet Pete has kept his own writing and sound very original. He has a unique musical expression and performs anything from blues to bluegrass and from folk to funk. His bluesy voice has a soft texture with a rough edge reminiscent of Joe Cocker or Chris Robinson.
