Carin was born right here in Chaffee County and raised in BV. With her natural talent, hard work and the tutelage of Michael Martin Murphy, Carin has garnered national awards. Her song writing inspiration comes from the ethos of the land she has grown up on; song writing from the heart, crystalline fresh vocals, arrangements that are both obscure and made her own. She performs with her two younger brothers, Colin and Evan. Colin, whose instrument is the mandolin, exudes confidence which can only come from 7 years of study being self taught. Evan, sixteen years old, has been playing bass guitar with the band for over six years, has expanded his musical talent and skill by performing on the upright bass as well.
